The latest attack by Michel Bachmann

This week's edition of the Replace Michele Bachmann Web Carnival is the fourth in the series, and is named the "We Told You So" edition. This is because there are several of us living here in Minnesota who have been blogging about Michele Bachmann for some time. There is the Dump Bachmann web…
Minnesota's Republican congressional representative, Michelle Bachmann, isn't exactly popular around ScienceBlogs for many reasons, including her creationist beliefs (sadly, that might be the least awful thing about her). Over at AmericaBlog, Joe Subday writes: Yesterday, I posted a video of Rep.…
Matt Taibbi is giving me nightmares. Read his long political biography of Michele Bachmann, with this terrifying conclusion. Even other Republicans, it seems, are making the mistake of laughing at Bachmann. But consider this possibility: She wins Iowa, then swallows the Tea Party and Christian vote…
Erik Paulsen is my representative to the US Congress. This is his first term. He replaced a very centrist Republican (Jim Ramstad) who retired honorably. I worked for the Democratic Party (DFL, we call it in Minnesota) candidate, Ash Madia during that election. Ash was a good candidate but he…

Aw, she doesn't look that bad. Watch the video with the sound off & pretend you don't know who she is & you might think she has a bit of charm.

So, she wants to stop funding for organizations (or just ACORN) that have been merely accused/charged of fraud, but have not yet been found even guilty of doing so? Gee, why don't we start charging Bachmann for dozens of crimes and then have a petition asking for the sacking of state representatives that have been charged with criminal acts. Same damn thing.

Pretty obvious this is anti-ACORN all the way and she wants the Bill signed, sealed and delivered in advance of ACORN being found guilty. That she covers up saying "such groups like ACORN who would..."

On the other hand, if groups such as ACORN are the beneficiaries of taxpayer funding and such groups apply themselves to criminal ends such as subverting the electoral process, why shouldn't such funding be cut off?
