This will make you laugh. Then you will realize that there is nothing funny here. Nothing. Then you will cry. With Glenn Beck. Cry for Glenn. Cry for our nation. And if you think I'm joking that's just what they made you think.

Last night Jon Stewart hosted the Israel/Palestine peace activists Anna Baltzer and Dr. Mustafa Barghouti. The angry response from the Pro-Israel crowd resulted in a backlash against the show for even having the discussion (including the show's first heckler in eleven years). Baltzer, an American-…

He's a funny guy, but I'm still completely baffled by Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity. He supposedly addressed his many critics last night; somebody tell me what it means, other than that it was an amusing self-deprecating schtick. The Daily Show With Jon Stewart Mon - Thurs 11p / 10c MSNBC…
I missed a few weeks of Jon Stewart while we didn't have cable, so many thanks to David Bruggeman for pointing out this awesome Daily Show clip of scientists failing to communicate. I saw this yesterday. It is hilarious.

Glen Beck is just a cartoon character in reality.

The Purity of Essence bit on the board was particularly funny too. At first it was a little uncomfortable to watch. You know, like watching someone make fun of a Downs Syndrome child because of how mentally handicapped they are. And since it's a Glenn Beck bit, I guess it's EXACTLY like that...

Sorry, can't cry right now. Ran out of Vapo-Rub.

Really? Is it really like that?
I can't watch Glenn Beck because I like to keep my brains in my head.

Kitty, this was not even slightly exaggerated in it's affect or tone. Or ill-logic. Or, really, in any other way.

yeah, I saw that yesterday too. It came right after the segment that basically summed up the republican criticism of the health bill to tl;dr

I saw Stewart on stage in Miami a few years ago (at the famed Jackie Gleason, no less). And you know what? The TV gig, great as it is, doesn't even begin to test his talent.

The sad day will come when he will want to move on (after he removes the leg-irons imagined by millions of fans wanting TDS to never end).

I can't wait to see what his next step is.
