One of my aunts went to Washington D.C.to see/hear him speak in 1963. She took a picture of him on steps surrounded by friends and fans. I used to send it with my sons to school on MLK day to show the class. After about 4 or 5 years, one of the teachers suggested that it might be too valuable to send so casually with young children...something I had not ever considered...
