Orac: I want one of these!

Oooh, I have to get me one of these!

Of course, the specs would have to be more up to snuff with what one can purchase these days. Even so, I wonder if anyone could put one together with a Mac.

I'm in DC this week working for Dr. Mom and getting my physical exam skills back up to snuff, so I'll be a little quiet. In the meantime, Cectic is keeping the dream alive:
I can't take any credit for it. Nat Geo has transitioned us to wordpress. Please let me know in the comments if there are any problems with the new format or with commenting and I'll see what I can do to get things up to snuff.
How dare Terry Pratchett release his new book, Snuff, next week, on top of the new stuff from

Ohhhhh, sooooooo pretty!!!

Although Peter Tuddenham voiced Orac in seasons 2-4, the original voice of Orac was Derek Farr, who played Orac's creator - Ensor. Orac had Ensor's voice and personality. I had always thought that Drek Farr had continued to voice Orac, but obviously Tuddenham must have taken over at the start of season two. It's been nearly 30 years since I watched it, but I remember it fondly.

I already have the full transparent case thing going (with LED-lit fans to boot)..

Only problem is the irresistable nature of such a case to a 1-year-old who thinks it is a good idea to poke fingers into spinning fans..
