Yes, it's the "These are the only really interesting photos I haven't used yet" theme. :)

Actually, though, people seemed to be responding more to images of "little things" or different perspectives. I know I post a lot of photos of charismatic megafauna, so I thought I might as well throw up a few more close-up images if people liked them.

Reminds me a bit of dinner at my ex in-laws.

You don't want to know.

Why didn't you start a myspace site and tell people it was a giant sea monster?

llewelly; I didn't have anything for scale. I do have a photo of a decomposing creature on the beach that I may put up soon, though, so maybe I'll have to take your suggestion.

I was thinking that it was more of the "I've been in math class for too many hours late at night" theme.

Well when you're in lecture until 10:05 on a cold, rainy night, scribbling down functions and hearing asides about how kids these days don't appreciate parabolas, you feel a little bit like a bloated, dead fish when you come out of the classroom.

Perhaps I should start categorizing (and posting) photographs based upon my mood. Then again, I don't really want to scare away the few readers I have, so maybe not.
