Awww, man - I can't tell you the childhood memories brought back by the name, Turtleback Zoo. They just didn't have such awesome animals back then. Great photo!

I adore Red Pandas. They are reasonably widespread in zoos around the world, but the latest count still has only 473 in in the captive population, with 42 births in the last 12 months. We only have a single female at Bristol at present, but are looking to the studbook keeper to allocate us a new male.
