More like this

This generation of students will graduate with more student loans and debt than any previous to it (adjusted for inflation, of course). Rising school costs, living costs in college towns, and credit card debt may all be to blame.
I knew when I posted about deficits I would catch some grief (you should see my email. Actually, you probably shouldn't. And why do I get many more emails than comments?).
I'm holding off on a couple of genomics posts, and instead wearing my Mike the Mad Post-Keynesian hat, since global financial system might get...shaky.
Because interest rates on U.S. Treasuries are dropping (italics mine):

I have a question for those that have kept up with the debt debate.

I found an article (which I sadly cannot re-locate) where the failure of Obama to include a Republican approval of a debt ceiling raise as a *condition* for the Bush tax cut extensions was discussed.
There was even a quote from an interview where Obama basically said that the Republicans surely were too responsible to cause trouble about the debt ceiling, so adding that as a condition for the tax cut extention surrender was not necessary...

Did any of you also read that article? It would be a good idea to forward it to as many as possible, to prevent the meme that "The Obama administration did everything in their power" the apologists are spreading
from taking hold.

It could have been in The Slate, The Nation, New York Times Washington Post or whatever.
