What are the other states of consciousness?

Kabbalists have attained them all. But don't take Perceiving Reality's word for it... Test the method of Kabbalah upon yourself, and discover the higher states of consciousness for yourself.

But wait... it gets better - they prove their point by using a random dot stereogram saying it comes from a higher dimension or something nonsensical.

What a waste of 4 minutes... haha..

I spend a lot of my free time reading, one result of which is a long list of rhetorical pet peeves. Little phrases and expressions that, for me at least, immediately make the writer look like an amateur. Starting a sentence with “Uhm” or “Hmmmm,” for example. This is an especially common one…
Psychologist Robert Kurzban's new book promises to explain Why Everyone (Else) Is a Hypocrite. It's a bold promise, and I was skeptical when first invited to review it. But Kurzban delivered - hilariously, entertainingly so. Although since I agree with almost everything he writes, I may not be the…

Come on.... you have to see the image... its easy to see, and it is nothing magical.... on the contrary, it takes a lot of mathematical stuff to create these 2d-3d images.

While I don't support this mainstream "kabblistic" teachings, the guy on the video did not say anything wrong or related to "psychic" stuff at all!
All he says is that there is a 3D image encoded in a 2D pattern, which is correct. And that you your brain is able to perceive the image through the use of a different state of consciousness: By different state he just that your brain puts together the image from the pattern, it detects an "hidden" image. Remarkable!
Those stereograms have been around for a long time... But still they are amazing.

But there is simply nothing special about this video, no spiritual nonsense, no weird theory, nothing at all! So what's the problem?

Propably your problem is the references to the kabbalists, which, according to the video, "have them all". I also find this remark quite funny and ridiculous.

Please try to be a bit more differentiating in the future!

He's using a stereogram, but he's arguing that there are "other states of consciousness." Seeing something in 3D is not a different state of consciousness than seeing something in 2D, but that's the example that's used to make the larger claim. The implication is either that our perception of the world (in 3D) is really just flat compared to some 'higher' possible level of perception (I suppose that'd be 4D...), or that our 'state of consciousness' is flat compared to some higher state, which is kinda silly.

Other than being conscious or being unconscious, what other states are there? I think the question was pretty straight-forward.

what the hell are you talking about Ced? who said anything about psychics?
Please try not to make asinine comments in the future!
