I just finish cussing out a creationist for getting his evolutionary ideas from a Mr Potato Head box, and what do I find? The Pain presents…Mr Cthulhu Head.

The bowler hat and handlebar mustache are the most sinister parts of all.
One of my quizbowling buddies bought a cuddly stuffed Cthulhu in a novelty shop in Ann Arbor, and carried it around with him for the rest of the day's play. (I claimed that Cthulhu cursed my playing success that afternoon, but since Cthulhu's keeper and I were on the same team, it really didn't make sense.)
I don't think the ones on this site are identical, but they're close enough:

Boy, that sure is one eldritch potato.
I'm sure you've seen it before, but it's always good for a giggle: Hello Cthulhu.
Here is a picture of the cuddly Chthulu I bought my godson a few years ago. He used to love it, and it still freaks out visitors to see it sitting there amongst bears and lions &c.

The "argument" might work better if you were a fundie, "End of Times"-type. A monsterous chimera plays an important role for them:

w00t! That toyvault site has Cthulhu slippers!
now that's quite the array of little bits and pieces.
what i don't get , in all honesty, is the reference to 'creationists'....i'm assuming it's to the adherents of biblical prose who see nothing beyond adam and eve, gawd making the world in seven days etc.. ???
just wondering , because as one who holds to my native indian heritage 'beliefs', do some put me in this category?

Obviously a follower of Rene Magritte, the surrealist painter .....
