Louis, the giant pacific octopus, Octopus dofleini, cuddles his Mr Potato Head.

The Kansas Board of Education is going to be re-evaluating the anti-science standards the formerly overwhelmingly right-wing crazy board had approved—they've since elected more moderate members—and the creationists aren't happy about it. When reading the stories, there was this name that kept…
No three words are more pregnant with the promise of error in a conversation with a creationist than to hear them say "what evolution predicts…". It's practically a guarantee that you're going to hear something bizarre and fundamentally erroneous — but it is at least a good start on identifying…

The undisputed modern master of the horrifying cryptozoological specimen is Alex cf, bane of vampires and cthulhu spawn. Unfortunately, there's an immense demand for his work, and he isn't very prolific. So how's a girl to fill her curiosity…
The bowler hat and handlebar mustache are the most sinister parts of all.
One of my quizbowling buddies bought a cuddly stuffed Cthulhu in a novelty shop in Ann Arbor, and carried it around with him for the rest of the day's play. what i don't get , in all honesty, is the reference to 'creationists'....i'm assuming it's to the adherents of biblical prose who see nothing beyond adam and eve, gawd making the world in seven days etc.. ???
just wondering , because as one who holds to my native indian heritage 'beliefs', do some put me in this category?
