The bowler hat and handlebar mustache are the most sinister parts of all.
One of my quizbowling buddies bought a cuddly stuffed Cthulhu in a novelty shop in Ann Arbor, and carried it around with him for the rest of the day's play. (I claimed that Cthulhu cursed my playing success that afternoon, but since Cthulhu's keeper and I were on the same team, it really didn't make sense.)

Here is a picture of the cuddly Chthulu I bought my godson a few years ago. He used to love it, and it still freaks out visitors to see it sitting there amongst bears and lions &c.

what i don't get , in all honesty, is the reference to 'creationists'....i'm assuming it's to the adherents of biblical prose who see nothing beyond adam and eve, gawd making the world in seven days etc.. ???
just wondering , because as one who holds to my native indian heritage 'beliefs', do some put me in this category?
