It's mid-November, so it's time to suggest new inductees into the Order of the Molly. Leave comments in this thread naming your favorite commenters!
We do have a bunch of new people here, but please don't even dream of nominating any from the influx of wacky denialists — it'll make me grumpy.

It's that time of the month again, when we try to acknowledge the work of some commenter (or inanimate carbon rod) who has most delighted us by bestowing admission in the grand Order of the Molly. Just leave a comment here naming your favorite commenter or random object intended to mock the…
This brings us to the end of our ScienceBlogs Book Club discussion of Autism's False Prophets.
Thanks to everyone for their participation.
The next Book Club discussion will start in mid-November, and we'll announce the title as soon as we can.
If you'd like to add your name to the ScienceBlogs…
Thanks to everyone who participated in the unscientific survey on commenting. The results are back, and I'd like to share them with you.
As many of you have noticed, we've been talking about comments a lot here lately, both at BioE and on Sb in general. There's also a big session on online civility…
The always perspicacious Chris Clarke is talking about us, in a post where he talks about the pleasures and perils of managing comments on a blog.
I'd be lying if I said I never appreciated a good bar brawl of a comment thread. And some blogs make the free-for-alls work: Pharyngula comes to mind as…
It seems like every time I see a comment by Sastra, I say to myself, "Who is this person, who knows so much of science?"
(Okay, it's not so much science in the technical sense as clear-thinking, but I needed to say science for the Monty Python reference.)
Cuttlefish.
Cuttlefish
While Cuttlefish deserves to win at least one more time, IMHO, this month I'm nominating Sastra and AJ Milne.
More and more often, when I think, "Oh, I liked that, who wrote it?" and look at the bottom of the comment, I see "Sastra." <---My vote.
Yay! I can repeat last months wish list by cutting out already awarded Cuttlefish:
windy and Sastra, I learn a lot from both, and have fun while doing it.
I must admit that [Cuttlefish] and AJ Milne each has managed to tickle my fancy... or feet or whatever.
Graculus, Steve Labonne and Dustin each deserves a Molly for constant high quality.
[*pokes out a chad for Sastra*]
Are you suggesting we wouldn't like you when you're grumpy? Anyway, I nominate Sastra.
Sastra and Dustin.
I've often thought Sastra should start his/her own blog, I enjoy reading his/her comments so much. They're always insightful, on-topic, informative, and many times humorous.
I nominate CalGeorge. He's got passion and candor in those comments of his! Also he adds some interesting links in his comments that take me to places I would never otherwise visit.
Cuttlefish
Sastra. Everything s/he writes is interesting and insightfull.
Sastra - always worth reading - clear, interesting, informed.
AJ Milne and/or Glen D.
Dustin is way overdue.
AJ Milne is up there quality-wise, but ?he posts far too little!
Truth Machine for his tenacity/insanity in dealing with that kim character.
Also Sastra and Glen D. for consistently excellent posts.
Graculus and Steve Labonne rock my world. Besides, Dustin doesn't wear a flag lapel pin, has his staffers ask questions during his town hall meetings, and once called Giuliani a bitch.
Remember: a vote for Dustin is a vote for godlessness, debauchery and fornication.
Yay! I vote for Dustin! Yay debauchery! Yay fornication! Yay godlessness!
I'm all for the godlessness, debauchery, and fornication, but I can't believe that none of the other candidates are able to provide it.
I'll await their electoral promises.
Next by order of precedence: Rey Fox. Followed by Sastra.
Sastra.
Dustin. He always makes me laugh.
I like posters who have something original to say, say it well and provide sources and links. Glen D. qualifies on all counts.
On another note, if he/she/it wasn't deservedly banned, I'd vote for Caledonian, even though the old Scot wouldn't have accepted the honor if he/she/it won. In Caledonian's hands, misanthropy was an art form. . .
Dustin, your last second pitch won me over. I vote for Dustin.
Nurturing my inner groveling sycophant, I vote for Sastra
(Every now and then even the most independent of people has to behave in a most sheep like manner. :) )
I'm all for godlessness, debauchery and fornication, but how do we know you'll provide? I've been made many an empty promise. Still, it's an awesome promise. Dustin has got my vote
Sastra.
And I said that in my head before I even noticed a trend.
I don't normally bother with these, but I think Sastra deserves it.
I came here to see if Sastra was in the running. No worries.
Cal finally got banned? I missed that one. Explains his/her absence lately. Good show.
Look in the dungeon.
Well, as usual, I can't really disagree with the voting so far. So I'll just put in my monthly vote for Kagehi. and maybe an honorable mention vote for Owlmirror.
Rey Fox! About time he won a Molly.
AJ Milne and Dustin.
