"Peek-aboo!"

Yeah - but can he do that in Martian regolith?

His colour does make him look rather like the space-hexapus from Zap!

How long does that take? If it's a five-minute process, eh. If the little guy can just sort of... schlorp, gone... that's darned cool.

Sure looks intelligently-designed to me.

Great, now if the creotards could do the same trick!

I just don't see how evolution could possibly lead to something like that! Only an all-powerful, all-knowing, all-present Creator could come up with a trick like that! [throws up hands]

Get 8 more of those and a foam mallet, STAT!

This clearly proves that evolution cannot exist. I mean, come on, just look at it !!! How can this just happen randomly ?

God MUST have done it. What? What do you mean where did God come from? Nowhere, since he's OUTSIDE space and time!! PWNED.

I love this vid too: http://www.ted.com/talks/view/id/206

(erm... just for the record, I was being sarcastic :p)

The video from TED was amazing, but then the cephalapods are amazing anyways.
Many thanks for sharing.

natural selection caused this? How? Oh, that's right, all you have to do is belieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve!!!

Yayyy! Burrowing stealth octopi! Now all we have to do is teach them to dig tunnels and carve stone and we can make a bundle selling 'genuine Atlantean artifacts' on eBay...

Oh, nuts! I said the loud part quiet and the quiet part loud again...

There was a great broadcast,Voyage to the Southern Ocean, on ABC's (Oz)Science Show two weeks back.

The broadcast was from the scientific research vessel, Aurora Australis, carrying 54 scientists on its voyage to Antarctica as part of Australia's contribution to the International Polar Year project

mp3 and transcript are available at...

A burrowing octopus? Cool! First I've heard of that. I'll have to look up more on that critter.

BTW, PZ (and fellow posters), you might want to poke around the internets for Gadgets Galore - Cephalopods from Wildlife on Two. I haven't watched it all yet, but it sure is pretty and it's got David Attenborough, of course.

any of you evotards come up with a random mutation that adds a new (non-duplicated) bodily structure, such as a part of the aforementioned octopus? You've got millions of body parts to choose from, and life supposedly started with a one-celled organism that lacked arms and legs and organs, so your dumb "science" has got quite a bit to account for in the world. Heck...got any scientific studies/experiments proving natural selection's ability to adapt an animal population genetically? And heck, where are those common ancestors -- or even just one of them? You religious freaks.

#16 - That penis growing out of your forehead looks pretty random to me.
