Hmmmm ... that report had a wide lacuna ... namely it discussed "quantum simulation" in a single context: simulation with quantum computers.
This is needlessly narrow ... QIS/QIT has plenty to do with the parallel discipline of simulating quantum systems with classical resources.
Why was this aspect of QIS/QIT not discussed at the meeting?
Because when it comes to creating new technologies, new industries, and new jobs, there is a lively revolution going on already in QIS/QIT simulation with classical resources.
