My Giants are done for the year, but Kate's Patriots are still in it, so there will be football-watching this weekend (well, actually, I'll be playing in an intramural basketball game for a good chunk of the Pats game, but Kate will be watching). In honor of the Pats, then, here's a video for Kate, which good taste demands that I place below the fold:
(They played a small clip of the song on a sports radio show I was listening to yesterday, so of course I had to go look up the video...)

I root for the Giants, and Kate roots for the Patriots, and at times in the last few years, it's seemed like they had a zero-sum relationship. When the Giants win, the Pats lose, and when the Pats are playing well, the Giants look awful.
Yesterday wasn't zero-sum, but the games were practically…
As part of the "Buy This Blog" incentive for the DonorsChoose fundraiser, Ewan McNay asks for a post on
the superiority of Commonwealth sports (cricket, football) over the
US-favoured kind (baseball, american football) ;-). Oh, OK, then; I'll

Cricket? You want me to talk up…
There were several sporting events worth commenting on this weekend, none of which I saw in their entirety. Hence, the combo recap post.
Maryland-BC The Terps got beat by Boston College in a game that I didn't realize was on TV until Kate told me about it about midway through the second half. I'm…
I'm going to be in the Boston area this weekend, visiting Kate's family, so I will end up watching Saturday night's Giants-Patriots game with my Patriot-fan in-laws. In case you didn't know, New England is currently 15-0, and if they win this game they have the chance to be the first team to ever…
It's good luck to be at another sporting event while your team is playing. I took my son to his basketball game last week when the Bears were playing, and by the time we were done, the Bears had won!
Good thing we have another game this Sunday too...
Good luck in your game, and I think a Pats Bears rematch of Super Bowl 20 (The BEST Ever) would be exciting.
The Patsies have to lose. By a lot. And I'm not just saying that because I live in Indy.
Well, actually, I am. GO COLTS!
