Re-Order My Queue For Me

Kate's going to Readercon next weekend, and I'm not. I have three summer students at the moment, and some other projects that I need to work on, and I just can't spare the time.

This means I'm going to have a whole weekend to do things that Kate doesn't enjoy, like go out for sushi and greasy Chinese food. It also means I'll have time to watch movies she wouldn't like (I should note that she doesn't forbid me to watch stuff she doesn't like, but on the whole, I'd rather watch movies with her than by myself).

Now, I have at least one and possibly two Netflix rentals that I'll be able to use for this purpose. So, my question to the Internet is this: What should I put at the top of my Netflix queue to watch while Kate is out of town?

We spent the weekend down in the Boston area, where Kate was doing stuff at Readercon and I was running the kids around the New England Aquarium and the Museum of Science (nominally in the company of a friend form college and his family, and some of Kate's cousins (respectively), but either…
As Kate and I set out to run errands the other day, the "Service Engine Soon" idiot light came on in my car (a 1999 Ford Taurus LX). This may or may not mean anything-- Kate got one of those in her Prius a while back and it was nothing-- but if it's actually an indicator of anything serious, I'll…
Another in my marathon posts, but! To a new city, Rotterdam. Which is indeed a fairly new city, having been bombed to buggery (by us, mostly, I presume [update: no, I'm wrong, it was the Krauts]) during WW II. Anyway, TL:DR: 3:55:53. Which is one second slower than Amsterdam 2012. Here's my list,…

Dr. Dave may be on the right track. I'd go with the holy trilogy of comedy, Animal House, Caddyshack, and the Blues Brothers.

We've seen and liked _The Prestige_.

I have an unfortunately narrow range of things I'm willing to watch on-screen. I don't like humiliation comedy; sexism; racism; or things that are really violent, moderately spooky or above, really dark, or stupid.

Movies I like include _The Princess Bride_, _Ronin_, _Sneakers_, _Ocean's Eleven_, _The Fellowship of the Ring_ and _The Return of the King_ (not _The Two Towers_, for reasons it would take too long to explain), _Master and Commander_, the second _Spider-Man_ and _X-Men_ movies, and _Chicken Run_.

I'll leave it to Chad to list movies he really likes and I don't.
