Today's Darwinists are not Nazis and not all Darwinists agree with Dawkins, Wilson, Ruse, Singer, or Watson. However, some of the ideas being promoted today by prominent Darwinists in the name of Darwinism have an eerily similar ring to the ideologies that eroded respect for human life in the pre-Nazi era.
There you have it folks - if we're not careful and muzzle those "prominent Darwinists" we're heading for Nazi Eugenics Version 2.0.

The Discovery Institute is spinning wildly to make excuses for West's performance on Friday, and to declare him the "winner".
I got two calls last night about Dr. John West's presentation at the University of Minnesota on Darwinism's fathership of eugenics. It appears that the scholarly and well-…
On this day 76 years ago (July 14, 1933) a sterilization law was passed in Nazi Germany, known as Gesetz zur Verhütung erbkranken Nachwuchses (Law for the Prevention of Genetically Diseased Offspring). Any German was a target if they were found to be suffering from a range of perceived hereditary…
There has been an awful lot of hand-wringing going on over Charles Darwin lately. Some have picked up a long-running meme and proclaim "One hundred fifty years without Darwin is too long!" while others declare that we should kill every Darwin we meet. Just as every American president must "Get…
With the internecine sniping that's been going on lately throughout ScienceBlogs ove Larry Moran's intemperate "flunk the IDiots" and "Neville Chamberlain school of evolutionists" remarks, or, more specifically, whether opposing ID requires that one oppose religion in general as well, I hesitate to…
Weikart writes "Richard Dawkins, PZ Myers, and some other Darwinists are horrified that the forthcoming documentary, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, will promote Intelligent Design to a large audience when it opens at over a thousand theaters nationwide on April 18."
That completely misapprehends the objection. The fact is, the film isn't going to even make the slightest comment about any scientific theory of intelligent design because there is no such theory. Where are the rejection slips for the suppressed scientific papers on intelligent design? They're in the same place as the rejection slips for suppressed scientific papers on creationism--they don't exist.
What we find objectionable is that the film is dishonest and deceptive about everything it discusses.
(Forgot to add: As documented at ExpelledExposed.com.)
Does that mean that Nazi Eugenics 2.0 will have Web 2.0 sites with social networks and cute icons with reflections in them? You know, the "Pick which of your friends to sterilize" Facebook app, and the "Get Eugenics Alerts on your Mobile Phone!" section?
And these people call themselves Christian?
The Fundies just amaze me with the corruption of science and religion.
