I'm back to the blog after a few weeks off. It's been busy to say the least, with most of my time spent submitting an NIH proposal as part of the stimulus grants program. Next week on Thursday at noon I will be in Edmonton, Canada delivering the annual Picard Lecture at the University of Alberta's Health Law Institute. More information on the presentation "Science Communication at a Crossroads: Promising Directions, Lingering Distractions" can be found here. The lecture follows similar themes that I addressed in a presentation late last year at the New York Academy of Sciences.
