Turtle Yoga Chaos!

The photographer, Bob Levy, writes;
Ah, how satisfying it was to find that a Central Park turtle rose, or at least lifted its head, to the occasion. Just when they needed it the most a Turtle Yoga master rose from the ranks to bring order out of chaos. Here we see the group under the tutelage of a natural educator artfully performing a cat stretch.
Doesn't this satisfy your need for a moment of Zen?

This is another of the American Museum of Natural History's horse artworks. This piece is located on the grounds near the west entrance to the museum itself, as you can see in some of the shots in this photoessay.

A week or two ago, the American Museum of Natural History added some horse artworks to its grounds. This is one of those horses.

There are so many reasons to love NYC, and surely, the best reason is the street fairs that occur all over Manhattan during the summer. Street fair "season" in NYC runs between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend. Street fairs occupy huge stretches of the surface streets in Manhattan on either a Saturday or Sunday between the hours of 9am and 6pm. You do not have to be a photography expert to notice that the only thing in focus in this image is the green mesh in the foreground and even then you might have to enlarge it to see that it is so.
