The pundit, famous for a profanity-laden exit from a CNN set in 2005, and for outing undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame in 2003, checked into a Boston hospital only days after running over a pedestrian in D.C. and insisting I didn’t know I hit anybody. In a statement, Novak explained:
I will be suspending my journalistic work for an indefinite but, God willing, not too lengthy period.
We can only assume this announcement about his "journalistic work" is meant to be retroactive.

On my recent trip to Denver to see my brother's graduation ceremony, my father and I talked a lot of politics, as we always do when we're together. My father is a lifelong Republican who has, to my knowledge, never voted for anyone but a Republican in any race above the local level. Nonetheless, he…

Amy Sullivan has this delightful little passage in an article about Robert Novak, the reporter/commentator who passed on information from "senior administration officials" about the identity of Valerie Plame, ending her CIA career, damaging years of undercover work on WMD programs and putting the…
We now know that Pakistan sold nuclear secrets to Libya and North Korea and who knows who else. The assumption was that the nuclear secrets were Pakistan's. AQ Khan, head of the Pakistani nuclear program gets the blame (or the credit; he is considered a national hero in Pakistan). Nuclear secrets…
Poor man. This does explain a lot though.
Eh, I think he's safe. After all, I'm pretty sure only stakes through the heart and crucifixes work on his kind.
The man is dying. Your post is not amusing.
Good riddance to bad medicine.
The brain tumor *could* explain how Novak could keep driving after hitting a homeless man, who then was sprawled across the hood of his car. But on second thought, if he could see to drive, how come he didn't realize it until a bicyclist told him?
I am sorry that he has an apparently life-threatening condition, but I will not be sorry to say goodbye to his brand of right-wing, hateful "journalism." I imagine Valerie Plame feels the same way. Tumor or not, he's a rat.
