I promise not to post many of these, but I rather like this ad. Enjoy.

Politico reports (via Benen): Sen. Elizabeth Dole’s latest advertisement suggests her Democratic opponent, Kay Hagan, is a godless heathen. “A leader of the Godless Americans PAC recently held a secret fundraiser for Kay Hagan,” the 30-second spot says, showing footage of the group’s members…
Here's some jollity, just in time for Friday. Chevrolet has launched a promotion in which people visit a website and use online modules to create a 30-second advertising spot for the Chevy Tahoe SUV. The early entries might not have been what Chevy corporate was hoping for. More screenshots and…
I went and saw a movie the other night, and in the process also wound up seeing an ad that I'm sure many of you are familiar with. It's for Coca Cola, and it involves cute penguins and surprisingly benign polar bears getting together to enjoy fizzy beverages at the North Pole. Now, the conceit of…

Okay, that was awesome. Familiar, catchy tune, well coordinated visuals. Thanks for posting - hadn't seen it yet on TV.

Wow, this stuff works on Americans? No wonder dirty politics is so ubiquitous over there. If so, why isn't he promoting his own strengths rather than bad mouthing the competition?

Chris: There's lots of positive ads out there, but these sorts of ads are very effective, and it's nice to see Obama hitting McCain hard. Alas and alack, American politics is not a battle over high principle, and it's nice to see Obama playing the game, so that he can be in a position to genuinely change the system.
