Wish my music teacher was like this guy.

Another score at TED talks. "Benjamin Zander: Classical music with shining eyes."

More like this

The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued citations last week to Zaloudek Grain Co. in Kremlin, Oklahoma for safety violations identified in its investigation of the August 4, 2011 incident in which two young workers each lost a leg.
The two 17 year old workers who were entangled two weeks ago in a grain auger remain hospitalized in the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
As I've often said, there are two kinds of science-themed graphic novels.

Thanks for this. Zander is a very talented conductor, and he talks superbly about music as well.

That talk is only tangentially about classical music.

For him, music is not separate from the rest of life. Actually I am fortunate to have had some teachers who have that same attitude. You ask about music, and they talk about love, about life, about death, about passion.

From that viewpoint, they are talking about music.
