The recount in the Minnesota Governor's race is almost done. As of yesterday evening, only five counties had counting to do. The state "canvassing board" (in charge of the recount, headed by the Secretary of State), is scheduled to meet on December 8th to resolve the recount.
At 234 pages, we now need a summary of Virginia's summary. This reminds me of a fake preprint, "Hierarchical Summaries in a Scale-Free Paper," by S. White, S. M. White, S. D. M. White, and Simon D. M. White, that circulated at Berkeley in the early 80s.
