The space shuttle Endeavor has landed safely at Kennedy Space Center:
After two weeks of analyzing, worrying and ultimately taking no action to repair a small but deep gouge in the Endeavour's underside, NASA flight controllers cleared the shuttle to return to Earth this morning.

Earth Impact Calculator
Ok, that was close, and I don't mean the zip by of li'l old 2012 DA14 this evening.

Reason 10,000 to ground the shuttles for good.

But we have good odds of another Shuttle disaster in the remaining flights. Again, the managers executing the inteentional Fraud will not be jailed for negligent manslaughter, as they should have been for Challenger and Columbia.
I still have 6,000 pages of "pearl harbor files" that the Columbia Accident Investigation Board and NASA IG could not pry loose from my former attorney, who has 2 legal malpractice cases against him.
It's all MUCH worse than the public knows.
I couldn't help writing about how Cook's Endeavour suffered a hole in her belly from a close encounter with the Barrier Reef. That should have showed the value of making repairs in situ.
