The fact that North Korea is announcing that it will stop its nuclear program makes me more concerned that the US will try some sort of air strike against Iran just so the administration can say they went three-for-three against the Axis of Evil. These stories don't make me feel much better either.
On an unrelated note - the Nimitz and Kitty Hawk have gone west - to join the Malabar Exercise with India and Oz, through Sept 9th.
Puts them back on the edge of Centcom area of responsibility.
Time for the Nimitz to go home after that, I think.
