That said, I don't get it. What does Tigger have to do with Dark Matter? Is it some Schroedinger's cat thing?

I discovered, to my pleasure, that there is such thing as DM cat food.
My cat likes his tinned cat food warmed, thank you.
However, Tigger's expression on that photo was far superior to any I have managed to capture on my felines' faces.

Yet surely you've seen a cat staring at some moving object in the room which you can't see. Cats, great hunters that they are, are obviously tracking, and sometimes stalking, SOMETHING.
The mere fact that we can't detect the same objects (creatures?) suggests that the feline sensorium includes a Dark Matter ecology.
Jonathan- I don't know about cats and DM but I've speculated that cats can see the dangling ends of superstrings. This is why they sometimes go up a wall for no apparent reason.
