The Burning…
"Every day we should hear at least one little song, read one good poem, see one exquisite picture, and, if possible, speak a few sensible words." -Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
I don't always have all the answers, but every weekend I strive to bring you something interesting -- in some form or other…
In case you're interested, I should be on the Brian Lehrer show (no relation) on WNYC tomorrow morning (approximately 10:30ish) talking about (what else?) Proust and neuroscience. I'll also be signing books at the Barnes and Noble at 82nd and Broadway tomorrow evening at 7 PM.
Anything in the South or Midwest? Very, very coastal...
USA coastal (says someone near the French Mediterranean coast).
Congratulations, Jonah!
No dates in San Francisco? That's too bad. Do you want me to make a few calls? It looks like the 9th would be the only slot.
Aw, no Alabama?
Have a good time on your tour, I'm looking forward to hearing about it!
Thanks for the comments everybody. Yes, I wish I was visiting the South and Midwest and San Francisco proper. But, alas, I'm at the whim of the publisher...I've got a few more speaking dates set up for next year which are a little less coastal, so stay tuned...
If you need a contact for NC give me a holler. Worked for Mooney last year (and then again this year with no action on my part), may work again for you.
Good luck with the tour! Can I put in a pitch for this site to you (or to the tour manager)? I think it's a neat site and wish more authors I read would get on it. As a reader, you sign up and it sends weekly emails about all the upcoming book tour events in your area.
