TGIF: Holiday Madness

I can't think of anything worse than this...I really tried. This completely ruined two of my favorite things Christmas and the ocean.

More like this

When I was a little kid I used to take a pair of dice and throw these dice repeatedly. At each throw I'd fill in a box for the corresponding number on some graph paper and I would essentially "race" the numbers against each other.
I drove down to Norrköping Thursday morning to look at two small Medieval castle ruins for my new project. The one at Landsjö in Kimstad is difficult to reach because it's on a small island in a lake where nobody keeps a boat.
Cooking turkey is actually kind of a dumb idea. Most people don't ever cook turkey. Turkey is like chicken ... it's a domestic bird that is familiar to all Americans ... but it is very difficult to cook in a way that does not ruin it.
Here at Deltoid world headquarters we built a gingerbread ruin. Pictures below the fold. The house.

11 seconds of that was all I could take, and even then the puke almost made it out. You don't think she drew that sod-awful Christman card do you?

Why craig?? Why?? I already have my doubts about staying in grad school? Do you have to plant the seed of doubt about staying a marine biologist too?? I mean, its bad enough my work gets compared to Porifera Bob squarepants whenever I do outreach...

Oh Kevin!
There's much worse than Spongebob for outreach! At least Spongebob dedicates equal time to plankton, anchovies, sea cucumbers jellyfish and snails! When I worked in gelatinous zooplankton ecology, we bought Spongebob T-shirts that said "Jellyfishing Angler's Society" for the entire lab, including undergraduate interns.

Oh, and Craig? I hate you for that card/song. :)
