The PalCast is, obviously, a little behind. Due to real-life problems, it's been tough to find the 90 minutes of solitude and quiet necessary to crank out a decent podcast. However, I do have one in the hopper for this week...hopefully it will be out by tomorrow or so.

It's Friday, I'm still working on stuff that I was supposed to be done with by now, and the temperatures in the vicinity of Casa Free-Ride have climbed into the uncomfortable range that is more compatible with having a cold beer (or lying motionless) than with slogging through the stuff I'm working…
It was a particularly silly poll that asked if the bible was the divinely inspired word of god, and we very quickly ran the answer up to a definitive "NO", so the poll owners did something predictable: they closed it.

I like your program; you really give some valuable off the record professional insight. However, I think you should realize that mind/body (substance) dualism isn't a scientific view. It's more properly categorized as a metaphysical view. This is because it deals with the subject of identity, whereas science is the study of causation.
Now I doubt that I've read everything Michael Egnor has written on the subject, but what have read does not indicate that he places his dualism in the arena of causation. If this is the case, then it should have no bearing on his medical practice.
