Brief Blog Break: Tenure Edition

Janet Stemwedel is not the only one around here applying for tenure. I am likewise in the process of making the best argument I can for having my school keep me around for a while. Sadly, this is a time consuming process. That, coupled with all the work that isn't getting done because I'm too busy moping about finishing my tenure file, suggests that this would be a good time to take a blogging break. Luckily, the ScienceBloggers who go up for tenure at the same time don't have to compete with each other for the promotion! That could get ugly.

Thanks for the well wishes! One way or another it's out of my hands next week, so we'll just have to see what happens.
