Angelina Jolie is an atheist

The nice thing about being jewish is that you can remove all of the god bullshit and old-testament crap and still maintain a lot of the cultural identity (ie, it's possible to be an atheist jew). The concept of an afterlife in judaism is fairly unclear -- my rabbi described it as a dry cleaning service for souls as they wait for the messiah. In fact, you could argue that reformed judaism is an "atheistic religion". Of course, orthodox jews and hassids would say that reformed jews aren't really jews. I still identify myself as a jew even though I have no belief in god.

I like the assumption that if your not Christian, your materialistic. Funny how traditional christian societies are the most materialistic on the planet. Hedging bets on an afterlife and assuming a moral superiority is nuts. Nothing in the 10 commandments is alien to any decent human being- or the beliefs of a secular society.
