i was thinking maine coon too. mine's mostly that way. persians usually don't get all corpulent and have thinner hair & flatter faces. maine coons usually are found in more New Englandy / Pacific Northwesty climate.
Well, my daughter thinks that your cat "might be" a Norwegian Forest Cat, but it is impossible to be 100% sure without a pedigree. It looks remarkably like one (especially like on picture of the breed in one of her several books).
My daughter is a huge cat lover and she ventured some guesses as to the breed of this cat. Can you enlighten us?
sheez genetically healthy, not a purebreed :) it seemz she wuz abandoned, so we can't be sure, but we suspect some persian &/or maine coon admixture.
