The most amazing thing you will see today.

"We'll be in the Hudson." Holy crap. I've been in the Hudson. But not like that.

More like this

Kate Hudson sues magazine for pictures that made her look too skinny:
There is a manatee in the Hudson; which is interesting because I had always associated the Hudson with industrial waste, bad smells, the periodic dead person, and kayakers who seem to have no problem floating amongst those things:
I run down the Hudson a lot, and I am utterly amazed by people who fish there. It just seems like a unpleasant place to fish. But I had no idea that people were actually eating what they caught:

The definition of cool. As in not un-panicked.

I love the red line showing the ill fated flight.

Funny, I had pictured that plane landing in a northerly direction, not a southerly direction when I originally heard about it. And I used to live in sight of that spot (sort of).

Is this supposed to make my fear of flying get better or worse?

With the number of geese around these days, it is surprising that this does not happen far more often.

And we never got the names of the birds.

BS: Yes, those birds need to be added to the no-fly list.

And we never got the names of the birds.

I heard they were Canada Geese.
