I think he's very much right about the general point he's trying to make, i.e. trust science. However, I do find it a bit ironic how he then continues to more or less ignore science by labeling vitamins and anti-oxidants as placebos when he discusses the run from 'big pharma' to 'big placebo'. There is quite extensive evidence that, e.g. vitamin C intake can reduce certain health risks.
(Note: I'm not trying to say that any of this is a substitute for vaccination or other medical treatments.)
