Goat Kills Hiker

A mountain goat (Oreamnos americanus) killed a human (Homo sapiens) in Washington. The human hiker was gored in the leg on Klahhane Ridge in Olympic National Park. The goat, previously identified as an aggressive wild animal, was summarily executed by park rangers. Previously, rangers had tried to put the goat off humans by throwing bean bags and rocks at it.

There are about 300 299 mountain goats in Olympic National Park.

But - did they set it on fire? Personally I prefer to stew them rather than stone them.

The goat told the hiker to leave or there would be consequences.
The hiker didnt take the threat seriously and called the goat on its bluff.
Only it wasn't a bluff.

COME SEE A PHOTO OF MABUS AND AN EXPLANATION OF IT!

I guess mabus couldn't handle all this talk of goats.

Little do we know but the goat population in the park had delivered a fatwa against all human encroachment and travel after seeing and hearing reports of our destruction of other habitats. This goat was a hero to the cause. Read how he stood over the guy's body to say,"Howda like that BITCHES. Stay the fuc% away from our LAND!" As susch eh was summarily shot dead as all indigenous aggression is treated (see Native American history).

What amazes me about this is the ranger's treatment of the goat before this incident. They knew this goat was aggressive, so they took to throwing rocks at it and shooting non-lethal weapons at it. Clearly they weren't making it afraid of humans, but pissing the goat off.

Or at least, if they were going to try the antagonistic approach, they could have found some goat-bane or something. I mean, there's a reason such things exist!
