The fifth Harry Potter film was released in several cities on the 11th, including NYC (no, I haven't seen it yet, but I've already talked to several fans on the subway who have seen it and loved it). But as of today, the fifth Harry Potter film is released for worldwide distribution. The positive reviews continue to pour in, so I am dying to see it, especially since the Luna Lovegood character has been so well received (she is one of my favorites in the books, especially since I see myself as a combination of Luna and Hermione).
I've posted this film clip before, but here it is again, just to get you excited about Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! [6:38]

Can't wait for the Book - only 11 days left! I'm in New York and will be one of the first people online at Virgin, Times Square. The bonus is Paul Carpenter, my favorite Illusionist, will be performing live at 11PM on July 20th. I hope he does the trick where an audience member puts a sword through his neck! Check him out at www.mentallyhyp.com
It was a great movie! I highly recommend it. I think it was one of the best ones in the series. My favorite is still the 3rd movie.

I actually have to admit that I haven't read the books yet, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the films. Tonks was far-and-away my favorite new character in this film and I'm looking forward to the next one coming out in November next year.
Was my favorite movie - but, then, again, Order of the Phoenix iss my favorite Harry Potter novel, so far ... http://paullevinson.blogspot.com/2007/07/harry-potter-and-3-d-phoenix.h…
