Your picture is just so beautiful.....and I believe the wood duck has the most interesting colorations od any ducks. Thanks!! Jan

We had these, and mallards, in our backyard when we lived in Michigan. Not only are they beautiful, but they perch in trees, which is a very odd sight, given their natural duck posture.
