Little Bee Eater.
Yellow throat with a black stripe between the throat and breast.

Well my Birds of Kenya says no white on the face of the Little Bee Eater so how about the Blue Breasted instead?

The pictures in Ber Van Perlo's "Birds of Southern Africa" show a fine line of white below ear coverts of the Blue-breasted; there is no white on the Little Bee Eater. But I wish I could have seen the spectacular Carmine Bee-Eater!!

Well, I would say absence of blue breast and presence of cinnamon chest would seem to indicate Cinnamon-chested Bee-eater.

Let me know what you think, fellow bloggers! :)

Yes, a cinnamon chested bee eater. Most commonly observed perched high off ground on tree branches. Green back, yellow throat bordered by a black throat. Black throat band and black eye stripe interrupted by white spot.

Well the chest is lighter than all of the pictures and drawings of cinnamon chesteds that I can find but the pattern of the head certainly looks right as does the terminal tail band.
