A while ago, I wrote Who is to blame for politically shaded shootings? in which I made this rather extreme statement which was only weakly opposed by any commenters:

I had a most unexpected surprise for Christmas this year: My wife got me a new turntable so I could actually play the hundreds of vinyl albums I've kept around since the 70's and 80's. My eight-yr-old is getting a kick out of listening to Daddy's music.
