24: Jack Bauer versus Aqua Teen Hunger Force

I have to admit, I don't quite "get" the whole Aqua Teen Hunger Force thing (I'm either too old or too uncool, I guess), but, as a certified 24 addict, I found this to be a rather amusing take on the terror scare caused by an ill-fated ad campaign in Boston a couple of weeks ago:

Following the Royal Mail's release of some lovely new Darwin stamps, a few of us got to Twittering over lunch yesterday about the lack of geologists on this year's release of American scientist stamps. (What's that? You have no idea what Twittering is? It's a stupid Web Eleventy-Point-Oh jibber-…
HT erv. This is truly annoying because it is so patently wrong. It's wrong in lots of different ways, but I'll help point out some of the major flaws. What happens when journalist becomes the story, rather than reports it? You see, there is this journalist, Celia Farber, who apparently has been…
My American readers don't need this reminder, but, because I'm continually humbled at how many international readers I have, I thought I'd just mention it anyway. We here in the States are in the middle of a three day holiday weekend for Memorial Day on Monday. As a result, I'm taking it (mostly)…
The flu season continues apace around my part of the country. I wrote about it about a week and a half ago, in particular how people don't get their flu shots because they don't think they need them, because they don't think the flu is a serious disease. Two more stories illustrate this disconnect…

Great find Orac! As a 24 addict and someone who works in Boston I loved it. Sums it all up nicely.

I was sick and tired of Aqua Teen before it was cool (all you people who are so proud that you "don't get" them today — posers!). But this was superb. Good find, Orac.

According to one news report on the opposite end of I-90 from Boston... a couple of state highway construction supervisors or inspectors found one of the light board ads on a bridge. Their reaction was to take it down and hang it up in their office. Apparently, someone mentioned that the rude gesture was not appropriate for the walls of the WA state Dept. of Transportion. So it was taken down and possibly moved to a more private location.

Also, I don't get either Aqua Teen nor 24. Like when does Jack Bauer sleep? ... Answered here:
