Thanks for that, I copied the info on its use in wolf trapping to my post on speculated uses for Pleistocene Acheulean biface handaxes/flakes as possible bait traps (inserted into a fish or game meat/fat/organ) to keep nocturnal predators (cats, crocs, wolves) away from the cave/camp.
