Have you ever been really, really hungry? Well, this python certainly was.
The lump in the python is a sheep. A pregnant sheep.
Ewe.

You may not think of our flesh-eating diseased brethren as being the thoughtful types. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't.
As Sci mentioned, I'm gonna be holed up in the Costco for a while so I got time to think about it. They're the slow-moving-undead zombies, not those ultra-quick "infected…

The Flintshire County Council in Wales recently decided to change their procedures for de-icing the local roads. Instead of spreading rock salt, which is effective but can be corrosive to vehicles…
I would not like to be bitten by an African rock python Python sebae. Here's why.
Had previously seen this photo on TV but only recently found a version on the web. Apparently, the 4-m-long snake - which had recently eaten a female impala - is dead and died after trying to pass through the…
Remember Bush's speech last year where he denounced "human-animal hybrids"? Well, I don't know about you, but I about fell off the couch laughing. But now it looks like his worst fear has come to pass: a chimeric sheep with 15% human cells, engineered with the hope of animal organs one day being…
It really surprises me that pythons do this sort of thing. I know that they can handle it perfectly well physiologically, but I would think that it would make the python dangerously vulnerable until that bulge goes down (or at least moves to center mass to allow some maneuverability). This guy in particular looks pretty easy to dispose of in his present condition.
Looks like the python had a taste for 'Kutti pi' ala nigiri style. But then, with no opposable thumbs and one incredibley unhingable jaw, I suppose grilling ain't much of an option.
Not sure if lamb fetus is the local equivalent of kutti pi, but here's a linkydink for the curiously hungry:

If endangered a python can regurgitate at will.
Since the this is obviously a captured and distressed python the rope around its neck is to keep it from disgorging the booby prize.
Wow. I wonder how long it takes a python to regurgitate a sheep through a few meters of digestive tract.
Wow again. I never would have guessed that I would type that sentence at any point in my life.
thanks
He's going to regret it when he has to poop out the skull.
More than likely, this python will regurgitate the sheep unless he is in a safe place where he can be still for a while until he can move again. He certainly cannot move for about a couple weeks with a load this size. And why is a rope around his neck? What's really going on?
