I regularly use 'happy face'/'sad face' clip-art in my presentations. Sometimes simple and silly really is the most effective way of getting your message across :)
Nothing like a little Lolcats to spice up a talk. I love doing things like this. Inside jokes during a talk can make the presentation a lot more fun for the speaker especially if 1 or 2 people are in on the humor.
