Are they mating, or is this male-on-male aggression or something?
The one on the left is male, the one on the right is female. They are being very, very friendly.
It's weird how, because of the design of squid eye slit, that even though they're mating, they still look kind of pissed off to me.

Well, it _was_ a dance night. Now I'm not so sure I will brave the floor - it seems ugly things may happen...
They're gorgeous. And the eye slit shape could be seen as indicating bliss.
Any tips on more good books for a nonspecialist that is interested in learning more about cephalopods, maybe ones that could be accomodated by a broke student's budget?
