YouTube sure is a handy space filler on days when you're too busy to blog

At least I freely admit it…so here, for your viewing pleasure, a brief musical interlude:

I went a little crazy with the YouTube videos this past weekend. The problem is some people post a comment and haven't even watched the video yet because they're at work. Like me:)

There's a brief shot where he's reading a large book entitled "Evolution", which I happened to recognize. It is, in fact, The Encyclopedia of Evolution by Richard Milner, with an intro by the late SJG.

Okay, I hate saying it, but: LOL.

I really did Laugh Out Loud.

I especially loved the end shots, of fictional anti-liberals Darth Vader, The Terminator, Stalag 17 commander Colonel Klink, and the marionette of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il from "Team America: World Police" -- all interleaved with past real monsters like Stalin and Genghis Khan, and all rightfully associated with the present-day real monsters shown throughout the piece, like Dick Cheney, Ann Coulter, Jerry Falwell, and our odious, ignorant, incompetent bush-league President.

awesome. awsome. awesome.

the man plays a mean wooden flute

Omigawd! I'm a liberal, too!

Thanks for that post, PZ. It's a day-brightener.

Not very related: This weekend I made my first link to a YouTube video on my blog. I promise not to make a habit of it. It's a brief presentation of the highlights of the right-wing hate speech at San Francisco's KSFO, as documented by Spocko (which resulted in the shut-down of his blog by ABC/Disney lawyers). Check out the clip and follow the links to Spocko's new blog and the many bloggers who have come out in his support.

I think most people do something else when they're too busy to blog. But then most people with blogs don't update quite so often.

Slow down! You're making the rest of us look bad, and you're reducing my productivity by posting so much interesting stuff. Argh.

Also, I liked the video and song.

oh i figured out a while ago that im getting addicted to youtube

thanks pz....thats going in the favorites ....again

Hah! made right here in little old Corvallis. That's the produce section of our local First Alternative Co-op. And that's our Neal Gladstone.

Ingenious!

I had to click the pause button several times to have a closer look... the scary Egyptian health care, for example... :-D
