Coming as a die hard athiest and a huge reader of PZ, Sam Harris, and Dawkins, could anything other than fate be responsible for the cosmic coincidence of discovering this show only THIS WEEK! and only now having everywhere I look point to it?!

We discovered the show by searching for other stuff Joss Whedon had done after Buffy/Angel, then a friend gave us the DVD's. I think it showed on TV once in Australia but the following was huge.

I never had any belief to begin with so I had to answer "No."

I got rated as Shepherd Book, which, as religious folks go, ain't so bad. I'm mighty impressed that they can take him to a government outpost and they'll fix him right up and send them on their way just by having Shepherd flash his ID.

I'm mainly creeped out by having Book so high on the list. How in the hell did that happen?

I confess, I probably won't take the test. Too often, I don't come out being the character that I'd really like to be. (What that says about me, I dunno.)

Dear Homocidally confused,

Yes you are becoming a Reaver. Or possibly just a teenager. It's hard to tell. If you chew your own lips off, you're probably a Reaver, or perhaps just very hungry. Either way, take two aspirin and call me in the morning. If, when you call, I tell you to stop mumbling, you've chewed your lips off in the night and you are a Reaver. Now just because you're a Reaver doesn't mean it's the end of your life. It's more likely to be the end of a lot of other people's lives instead. There are organizations that can help you recover, although admittedly most of their facilites have been razed to the ground as a result of over enthusiastic group therapy sessions; at least they try. Social support is vital for a recovering Reaver. If you fear you may have become a Reaver, try asking your friends to support you in your attempt to overcome this condition. If you've killed all your friends, try improving your social skills so you can make new friends. You'll find this is easier if you haven't chewed your lips off.

I'm kind of disturbed that someone actually got Inara, given that the questions indicated that the poll maker had a rather low opinion of her (unfairly so, IMO - remember the episode with the rich man's son?)

P.S. #18: Jayne is not really a "bad guy", I don't think. He's not really a good guy either, though.
