Perks!

This is actually a disappointment. I was sure that scienceblogging gave one lightning quick driving reflexes, phenomenal sexual performance, the powers of the anti-christ, and the ability to write perfect copy with the first draft, but this comic seems to be implying that scienceblogging only gives you an excuse for falling short in those areas. Of course, I already have all of those abilities even without the scienceblogging biz, so this comic must be referring to all those other bloggers. Yeah, that's it. I'll keep telling myself that.

Wow everyone! Thanks for all your suggestions on my last post. I thought I'd respond here, since my comments are plenty long enough.... I'll probably still miss some things though. Sam Anderson, in New York Magazine, takes on ChatRoulette, that strange new site that connects you, via webcam, with a stream of strangers: The site was only a few months old, but its population was beginning to explode in a way that suggested serious viral potential: 300 users in December had…
Last Friday, when I didn't have any time to blog, Zen Faulkes wrote an interesting wrap-up post on Science Online 2013 in which he declared he won't be back. Not because it was a bad time, but because other people would benefit from it more, and his not going frees up a spot for somebody else. I…
It's amazing how quickly three days can pass by; on Thursday I made a mad dash to make sure everything was in order for my trip to North Carolina and by 10:30 Friday morning I was sitting in an NC hotel room, not sure if I was awake or asleep. I didn't have much time to sort myself out, though, as…

I always thought that the ONE place you're supposed to suck is in bed.

It is funny how the original "aphanitic" became "aphanatic" in Chris Rowan's post and then "aphantic" in this post!

Maybe one of the comic strips should say: "you suck in spelling and/or copying and pasting! -it's OK I am a scienceblogger" :-)

Rimshot for June! :P

Rimshot? I'm not gonna touch that one.......

Well, being a comic artist, this strip 'sucks', It's hard to read and the visuals don't come across well. And of course, a ruler would have been nice;)

Best,

Brett

I like the fact that the professor figure in the fourth panel resembles the advisor in PhD Comics, even if the rest of the drawing is a crude imitation of xkcd.

@EyeNoU: UGH! BAD! WRONG!

I like it.

"Ur thesis is fail!"

Shades of "All your base are belong to us."

Meme it!
