Somewhat unrelated but you are the person to ask.
Do stingrays have legs? Or did they share a common ancestor with legs? I ask because there is this picture floating about on the web - http://imgur.com/r/pics/GMzpq.

No, they don't have ancestors with legs, and those aren't legs. Those look clasper organs, modified fins that are used as penises.
