That's a lovely photo of two happy and handsome and smart people.
"Eh, anybody can do five years. Ten years is the real test!"
Well, from personal experience: anybody can do ten years. 21 years is the real test!
I had a great-aunt and great-uncle who were married a very long time. I was their 60th wedding anniversary reception, at a private New York club. I asked my great-aunt what it was like to be married to the same man for 60 years.
She said, with a wink: "He's NOT the same man!"
I assumed that this was not about infidelity or cloning, but a reminder that we all change over time.
Congrats again; I look forward to seeing another photo on this blog in another 5 years.
Congrats!
Eh, anybody can do five years. Ten years is the real test! (Congratulations)
The Mrs. and I are nosing in on three, and I know just what you mean. Mazel Tov!
BTW, did they ever finish the Rte. 79 bridge over the susquehanna, near Scenic Whitney Point?
We might make a pilgrimage to Ithachaka für den sauerer kirschen.
Hey! How'd a dorky-looking guy like you snag such a hot babe?
Eh, I should probably keep my mouth shut, before people start asking me the same thing. Congratulations!
The facial expressions in that picture are rather amusing. "You think this was a good idea?" "Yeah, probably... let's go eat some cake." Congrats!
Congrats! I'l be starting my own anniversary counting in a few months, so it's nice to see that sometimes these things work out... :)
Congratulations!
