Shelley Batts, fellow ScienceBlogger and proprietor of Retrospectacle, is applying for a blogging scholarship -- which I didn't even know existed until now. Unfortunately it is kind of a popularity contest using web voting to determine the outcome. Right now the PoliSci people (gasp) are winning, so if you have a free moment would you go vote for her and show some neuroscience pride.

Well, not exactly. She's already been to college and is now a PhD candidate in neurosciences at the University of Michigan.
Newsweek has a story online today about a passage, in a book published by Wiley, that was recently discovered to have been plagiarized (D'oh!) from Wikipedia.
Bugger, too late to vote.
Anyway, I see Shelley came third, even if they did spell her name wrong. Good for her.
