I've been on holiday, I don't know if you noticed. We came back via Bayeux and here I post a little-known pic from the famous tapestry (yes really). You are to imagine the nice ladies of the time happily needle-pointing away, although perhaps that isn't such a good image now I think of it.
Let's suppose you're the proprietor of a European tourist attraction. We're not talking about a Louvre or Uffizi here, or even a Leaning Tower of Pisa. No, you're in charge of a hidden gem: the scenic Church of the Saint No One Has Ever Heard Of, or the lovely little Museum of the Famous Artist…
For now. When it comes down to it, benevolent dictatorship resting on a perfectly anarchistic base is the only way to go. Democracy is too easily bought. Free Market Forces do not make everything all nice and efficient and stuff. Wherever information can be OpenSource and OpenAccess it should be…

It's even better in person. I went there in 1995. It just chock full of awesome nooks and crannies of history. Bayeux also has WW2 museum (assuming it didn't get blown down in a big wind storm some yeras ago) and is a beautiful Rent-a-Bicycle ride to the beaches of Normandy. The restaraunts are super too.
