There was no Friday Bookshelf last week because I was in NYC having a good time, I mean discussing science and such with the Scibling crew. This week I am in Gettysburg for the Bluegrass Festival, so no Bookshelf again. Should be back to the regular schedule next week.

Mr. Zuska and I spent a few days in Gettysburg at the Bluegrass Festival. I am a conflicted fan of bluegrass music. That is, I do love me some banjo. And hearing a good banjo, fiddle, bass, mandolin, and guitar together is, to me, a true aural delight.
The problem lies with some of the lyrics…

Believe it or not, I’ve had two weekends off, which is why there won’t be a full post today. Basically, what happened is that I’m an idiot. I took a long weekend last weekend, worked a couple of days last week, and then took a three day weekend at a cottage near a lake this weekend with my family…
